This sizable and secluded piece of flat land is situated in the lovely rural hamlet of Stones Green, near the east coast. Great Oakley lies approximately two and a half miles to the east, with Tendring approximately three miles to the west and Wix a mile to the north.

Visiting the site

From the A12

Take A120 towards Harwich and continue along for approximately 10 miles.
Take B1035 southwards signposted for Tendring.
After approximately a mile, you will enter Tendring Heath, take the first left (Tendring Road) which is opposite the pub.
Follow Tendring Road for a mile, passing Brockett’s Hall on your right and a left hand turn (signposted for Goose Green).
Firth’s Farm is almost immediately on the right and the land is just after the farm on both sides of the road.
